”My wife Mélanie, lived her life in a way that inspired so many of us. Long before she had cancer, Mélanie was committed to making the most out of every moment, every experience, and she doubled down on that commitment when she was faced with an end that came far too soon. In 2015, we lost Mélanie, but she left behind an incredible legacy. When I think about her, I don’t focus on the pain of losing her – I think about the beauty of the experiences we shared, and I know I am fortunate.

We founded Mélanie’s Way to help those who do not have the means to create the legacy they want to leave their loved ones.

We help young women with metastatic or relapsed cancer by creating personalized experiences – wishes – that bring them and their loved ones joy and forge lasting memories for those they will leave behind.

We have a lot to celebrate from the past year – since we began this effort to expand the definition of serving young women with metastatic or relapsed cancer beyond extending survival, to focus on maximizing joy and creating shared memories with their loved ones.

This site aims to share with you some of the stories of our wish recipients – and to recognize the volunteers and supporters who made it all possible. Most importantly, it is dedicated to the amazing young women whom we serve, and the inspirational woman who started it all.”
